Since those early days, the rules have evolved out of necessity and experience. They continue to evolve. After the end of S2, the standards were greatly relaxed. Several weeks later, they began to be enforced more strictly again. We are now up to full speed since we are so near the season, and all rules (until they have to change again) are being enforced. 2. Perhaps if you gave a more specific example of two posters who were treated differently in the same time period I could give you either an explanation or a remedy. As it stands now, I don't know what you're referring to. 3. Do you mean MESS and Spoilers, surviiivor.com and MESS/Spoilers, or what? 4. By a smart ass remark, do you mean something like, "why not say something other than a smart ass remark? why not? it won't hurt much. try it." Again, it would help if you gave a specific example.

Posts: 639 08/27/01 03:13 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	it took you that long to come up with that, come on. 1. i find it to be opposite. when the first list of possibles came out, i posted a pic of one. deleted, warned, you know. now it seems as if you can post whatever you want with no deletions or warnings 2. i can't post a pic, but look in spoilers, several pics 3. mess and spoilers, i know how it works 4. ex: thats a mistake you won't have the oppurtuntiy to make again this is all in good fun, it's not real life people

However, he was an experienced admin and I wouldn't second guess his decision at the time. 2. If you have a spoiler worthy pic to contribute now, by all means, do so. 3. MESS vs. Spoilers? MESS has greater constraints in many respects, fewer in others. For example, only MESS Mods/Admin can start new threads in MESS. Regular old posters can start new threads on Spoilers. MESS members in good standing get to carry a MESS badge. Posters on Spoilers can't have subnics. The two places are different. They naturally have diifferent rules. Anyone can participate in the MESS Hall, while MESS regulars are encouraged to post on Spoilers. 4. You're right, it was a smart ass remark.
