Posts: 1893 (09/25/08 6:06 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I must say, Gabon has quite possibly the best location and most diverse cast we've seen in quite a while. I'm not denying that both China and Micronesia were both improvements over previous seasons, but if it weren't for the fact that this was season 17, I'd almost be willing to say that this season looks as 'fresh' as any pre-ASS season. So, I'm thinking that if Gabon is a dud, it just might be the final nail in Survivor's coffin. If a season that's this promising actually fails to keep us interested...what else is there to look forward to? Discuss.

The reason why it sucked was cause there was nothing interesting going on. All-Stars was always interesting cause of Rob M. One of the top seasons for sure.

I'd say Survivor went downhill after Africa aired. Fourth season onwards didn't look so hot, but PI was a nice break.

They were stupid in thinking any romance would help the show. It had to be an interesting romance. Ozzy/Amanda was 100% blah, same for James/Parvati (except for 5 minutes). They should have done a complete All-Stars with people like- JFP (tell him not to act stupid before the show) Chris Eliza Twila Tom (pay him his money) Ian (him too if he whines) Katie Jamie Gary Cirie Terry Shane Jonathan Candice (pay her a lot of money) Cao Boi Todd It would have been better.

Posts: 281 (09/25/08 11:53 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Not sure what I think about the importance of this season for the show as a whole, but whether this season is good will depend on how long Fang tribe members make it. It's a double-edged sword. On one hand, Fang sucks, so getting rid of them would make me happy. That said, the audience is totally on their side as of now because we know so little about Kota (we know a bit about Charlie, a bit about Bob, and that's it). So while I think the Kota tribemates might be better, perhaps the season will have more going for it if Fang's horrible members last a little longer and can continue the drama of handling a horrible tribe. Also, I agree that a Charlie-Marcus alliance near the end of the game would ruin the season.
