Posts: 770 (10/05/08 8:33 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I'm not sure how many seasons of this have aired in the States, but at this point it's worth watching only to wait and see if this series will ever regain its past glory. The worst thing about this is probably how most of the characters to die or leave are actually good ones. If you haven't watched this yet, it chronicles the daily challenges of Britain's MI-5, including terrorists, hackers, rogue politicians, shady businessmen and traitors. The best seasons (and the strongest cast) are from Seasons 1-3, and then it all goes a bit downhill from there on. Spoilers for the upcoming season (Season 7), to be aired sometime between now and November: Spoiler [+] That bitch Jo's fate is still unknown, per the cliffhanger finale last season, where I actually hope Adam has killed her because she is bloody irritating. Adam will leave the series, it was speculated that he would die, but this is not certain. And this guy: Richard Armitage, will be Adam's replacement: Lucas North, an agent who has been held in a Russian prison for the past eight years. Ros will be back as well. Arrgh why not Ruth, Tom or even Tessa? Why?

That was um...intense. I think that was one of only a few episodes I saw, and totally forgot the show existed, but that was a pretty cool scene.

If anyone wants to watch more of this series, someone has uploaded all the episodes up to S3.E2 on YouTube. I wonder if there's any chance it will get released on DVD here in the states? I don't want to know anything about the new season, but I'm fearful for Zaf. He seems like the type of character they could kill off at any second. I guess that's what I like about the show -- this feeling that any character could be killed off or, in the cases of Ruth or Zoe, shipped off never to be seen again. I didn't expect to like Roz so much either. I couldn't stand that actress when she was on Wire In The Blood and they seemed to be forcing her on us pretty early on. But she wrapped up the last season I saw (the one that ended with her and Adam underwater) rather strong.
