Seeing as they chose a boy who went through puberty too fast, we will probably never see him again. Or if we do it will be in three years (six months lost island time) and there will be some explanation for his growth.

They can't find him 'cause he's guest starring in sitcoms and dramas all over the other networks. He packed his lunchbox and said "Screw you guys, I'm going to get some work."

Didn't the writers say at one point that the actor's recent growth spurt would be part of what happens to the character of Walt?
I could swear I read that in a few different places. Of course, IMDB (infamous for being wrong) does say Malcolm David Kelley played Walt from 2004 - 2005... IMO, if we do see Walt again it won't be because he's coming "home". I think we'll see reprogrammed Walt who is now an Other and has no interest in reuniting with his father or any of the Losties. I love the new forum. |

This is why you hire a new version of Gary Coleman or Emmanuel Lewis to play these roles.
IF the producers are smart and IF the writers really do have a plan then they should have filmed various scenes of resolution for Walt's storyline while they had the chance and gotten ready to splice in the correct one when needed. |

To answer if Walt is coming back would be a spoiler. Answer yes, and it tells you he comes back in a future episode. Answer no, and it says that you for certain know that he is not, which ruins people's suspense...we spoiler lovers know the answer but I hope no one says it in here.

And I also believe they digitally changed his voice to make it sound higher as well. THAT's how they handled his growth spurt. It was basically smoke & mirrors. |
