Dom was very solid tonight. Also shows that he has been criminally under-utilized.
I believe I read somewhere that Dom took the television show because he couldn't get movie work because everybody saw him as a hobbit, he was sort of type cast. |

shouldn't be anymore except they may see him as an "X Files" kinda guy. Unfortunately that might be the same thing. Try the stage, Dom.

Well, he doesn't have leading man looks so he is sort of pigeon holed in a way anyway. BUT, tonite, he found his brass ring for sure.

He always had acting chops. Just never got a chance to use them, other than glazing his eyes over like a druggie.

This was a very sad episode and he handled it well. A very subtle, heartfelt performance.
I thought the ring thing was kind of funny, though. It reminded me of LOTR. |

I've liked Charlie since the beginning. In fact I like all the characters. Everyone is a good actor...but, it really helps when the writers give them something to sink their teeth into. Tonight...was Dom's turn.
I have to applaud the cast members of Lost, because even though each could be a lead actor, they are in an ensemble cast. The problem with that is that talent goes unutilized. |

dom is a good actor, and im glad they gave him such a big episode right before the finale. i hope he lives

Dom did do very well. I think he took it beyond what was required of him. I think he really captured the essence of the emotions for the episode.

His character finally came full circle, plain and simple. We notice it now because we don't see him as annoying or useless anymore, or at least in that episode. Yet people forget that was what the character was, so if thats the case, I say he has been doing a great job since the Pilot.
Regardless, if he does die in the finale or not, he did a great job on the show. |

Before tonight I didn't really care whether or not he lived or not, but now I'm sorta pissed that he died and not somebody worthless like Claire.
