That would stink, because I have some friends who have missed out on the show and wanna get caught up by watching the DVDs before the new season starts.

There's much speculation that Wednesday nights for the first several weeks in the Fall, the third edition of Dancing with the Stars will occupy the 8-10 p.m. hour. This would run its course for a good 8 weeks or so, then allow "Lost" to premiere in its regular time slot.

I hope what we do get is the same thing as S1, but with the appropriate characters and a different tint. I'm thinking like a reddish brown, maybe.

I'd like to get it.....but isn't the DVD format changing soon, so I don't want to sink a lot of $$$$ only to have to buy it all over again (a la Vinyl records/tape/CD) when we go to HD-DVD or BluRay or BluTooth or Blue SuedeShoes or whatever the fuck it'll be?
