Katie had a cool Insider clip this episode. She talks about having bad dreams - mass murderers and being in a restaurant where the food never comes. And what it's like to sleep surrounded by rats. Her hands got badly torn up in the ep2 RC rope swing. Still she still comes across as spirited and funny rather than self-pitying.

I think Katie vs Caryn will be the Catfight Main Event this season. If Tom\Ian are the Ruperts of the tribe, Katie is sassy Sandra and Caryn is disloyal Trish.

I was thinking that her name sounded familiar.
Then I remembered this girl from Saturday Night Live.

I'll think about it. Probably play around with the title through the season but haven't built up much Caryn hate yet.

I expect that next week (double boot episode) the two factions on Koror will have a showdown, and Caryn will target Katie. But our girl has the numbers to survive.

BIO
Born and raised in Merced, California, Katie Gallagher traveled to Long Branch, New Jersey to attend Monmouth University. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication in radio and television. She was formerly employed as a camp counselor for at-risk children, outdoor education instructor (geology) and sales representative. She is currently an advertising executive in radio sales.

Gallagher describes herself as optimistic, spontaneous, sarcastic, full of opinions and hilarious. Her favorite hobbies include camping, gardening, performing in local musical theater productions and shopping at vintage stores. She is most proud of traveling across country with nothing but a gas card.

Currently single, Gallagher resides in Merced, California with her cat, Norman. Her birth date is May 28, 1975.

Great confessional, and obviously a reference to a previous comment from Willard that we didn't see. Even Caryn, who picked Willard, said that she wouldn't want to live with him for 39 days.
