So I finally got around to watching Fallen Angel, a documentary on Gram Parsons and HOLY SHIT!
I knew he was one of the founders of alt rock/ country rock but I had no idea his FRIENDS STOLE HIS BODY AND SET IT ON FIRE IN THE DESERT! |

Gram Parsons is my boyfriend's GOD.
He has every cd, every dvd, every book....he probably know more about Gram Parsons than, well, his GODDESS, EmmyLou Harris!! Every musical discussion can be connected back to Gram Parsons....... |

It was his road manager and another guy who nabbed the body and took it to Joshua Tree for the funeral Gram had once mentioned he would want. I love Flying
Burrito Brothers and Gram's music. He's not given enough credit for being an innovator of the Southern California Country Rock sound.

well, i know it was what he wanted but they STOLE his body, got drunk, took him to Joshua Tree and set him on fire. Then they left him. Partially burned.
