Is Hurley "Special" too? |
Lead | |
|
After last night's episode I really started to get the feeling that Hurley has the same abilities as Walt and Locke. Locke acknowledged that Hurley has
also seen the cabin, but it could explain Hurley's "curse". If Hurley had believed himself to be cursed then he could have caused the things that
made him think he was. Also with Richjard's test, one of the items was a comic book and the comic book from season one belonged to Hurley.

Remember in Season 1 when he was playing backgammon with Walt and he said that he was a "warrior"? I've always wondered what he meant by that and
if they're going to explain that at some point.

Hurley is special all right. Didn't the nut house clue you in?

Locke has abilities? His destiny is tied to The Island, and he gets to experience "benefits" that way, but I don't think he could do anything
"special" when he was little. Ben either, right?
Now, Hurley does have "abilities", but they started with The Numbers. He's now tied to The Equation, which somehow effects his luck and the luck of those around him. But that's all we've seen so far. (Seeing dead peops is something non-abilitied people can do.) |
