Most likely she intends to fix either Alexis or Catalie.. I don't think Catalie can be both the desperate former piower player and the blindside boot. Desperate people see the danger coming. Maybe Parvati feels desperate because Amanda\Cirie\Erik come together and have the idol. Maybe Alexis is the blindside - she'd be seen as a bigger challenge threat than Nat. Amanda has issues with Alexis going back to the merge, and Cirie called her a Triple Threat at TC. I think last episode was the begining of a mini-story arc for Natalie lasting into the endgame. Why make Nat a Vis 5 and Alexis a Vis 1 unless Nat makes F4?

(They are trying to say "threatened in different ways", right, not "drastically different injuries"?) The only way your position in the game can be threatened is to get worse, right? If one person were threatened with their own removal, and another with an ally's removal, that's not drastically different is it? Alexis could be a blindside, I guess. We've seen her as nothing but tight with Natalie. (Remember their conversation right after the merge about letting each other know if anything was floating around? Bitch.) But it could be Erik, maybe not such a surprise to him, but to us the viewers. Obviously he's been on his way out for a while, but he's been portrayed as harmless and casually entertaining to have around. I think it's possible he goes on the family reward with Alexis and Natalie (to avoid having to pick between cake-mates Cirie and Parvati.).

I can imagine that if James is removed due to injury and Erik wins immunity then that leaves the girl power five to have to turn in on themselves two TCs earlier than they'd bargained for. Does James have more than one injury? How would someone else's injury mess them up? And what do they mean by "power player"? The only two people I think have been portrayed that way are Natalie and Parvati, unless they think Erik winning immunity gave him the title of power player. I suppose it could even be James, as a former alliance member, but I don't think he's really been a power player. LOVED that James started talking about apples again ...

Person One: James = Of course his injury will threaten his game because it could mean he has to be taken out and end his game pre-maturely. Person Two: Erik = If James get's ejected for his injury, that leaves Erik as the only man left in a game were all the females left are alligned. It would essentially move his boot earlier and he loses three more days to try and turn his position around.

And by not knowing what Erik is going to do, her worst case scenario could be a tie vote and then the person she voted to evict remaining in the game by winning the challenge. IE she sides with Amanda and Cerie and votes Alexis, but Erik and Natalie sided with Alexis and voted Cirie, Alexis beats Cirie in the tie-breaker comp and Parvati is left with a camp of Amanda and Parv vs Alexis, Natalie and Erik.

One important clue I think is a former power player is the most desperate of them all. Now is this former power player going to be Erik or James? LOL! But I think this could be Amanda, in the last show we were painted with Amanda being very uncomfortable when it comes to her position in the game.

But the spoilers say something different, she doesn't even seem to be the decoy boot. One Castaway goes from power-player to the most desperate of all. What if "most desperate" just means got sent to exile? So it could be Cirie or Amanda.

Posts: 1273 (04/26/08 2:35 PM) Registered User More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	VERY informative trip to the library where I saw the Ponderosa videos and read Jason's exit chats and heard his podcast for SFever. I'm happy to report he comes off MUCH smarter IRL than he did on the show. And he's still angry about how things turned out....of course.... So much so he basically repeated over and over in different ways that "The Fans are doomed" and that Cirie, Amanda and Parvati, as we saw WWWAAAAYYY back in Ep.2 or 3 is the power alliance that hangs together til the end. He also goes on to say that he loves, loves, loves Alexis, and shoulda confided in her not Natalie, which he thinks was his downfall. Of course, he totally hates Natalie...But his warmth for Alexis kinda makes me feel SHE'S the next to go in a blindside, as Parv/Cirie/Amanda pull in Eric and send Alexis packing...And James goes in a medical emergency exit. Now the DOUBLE TROUBLE mentioned in this week's clues refers, obviously, since we're shown it in the promos to James...But does his going mean that he's out of the game for good and also off the jury? Thus changing the jury's composition drastically. From a seven person jury to a six, thus necessitating a Final Two scenario and not a Final Three at the end because they NEED another juror and James is gone. That would leave a jury of FOUR fans, and two faves, Eliza and Ozzy, which would make the remaining FAVES, Amanda, Cirie, Parv want to stick together even more, so that the FAN dominated jury would have to choose between FAVES not giving them a Fan to vote for. So say James IS gone somebody like Cirie, say or Amanda, is going to think that they now have to make the final 2, not Final 3. Amanda, the obviously stronger one of the three could win the Final 3 immunity of olden days and take CIRIE, who she thinks she could do better against in a jury situation than Parvarti who Amanda would think would get all the fans votes, and she may be right. Cirie could be seen as a coat-tail rider, which of course, she isn't. And Parvati could HILARIOUSLY end up on the jury!!! Wouldn't that be sweet? Does James stay or go? And does Amanda want to risk an all fan jury against a FINAL situation with a fan IN IT. The desperate player is Natalie I think, who with Alexis gone has no one to ally with and after that last vile episode, we can see why.

WAY TO GO EPMB! This is unprecedented and WRONG and no one will want to play Survivor ever again with all these medical evacuations! No wonder Jason was soooo nice to Alexis in his exit chats! So with BOTH James and Alexis out in medical emergencies does that mean that there will be no Tribal Council this week?!?!? So if they are BOTH eliminated that leaves Erik, Cirie, Amanda, Parvomity and Natalie!!! We're at a Final Five already! So no tribal this week, right?

Previews mention another blindside in episode 12 so both Alexis and James medevac'd does not fit the bill. Seeing as the key word is "blindside", that rules out James b/c he knows how much danger he's in and leaves Alexis getting voted out at TC.

Posts: 1279 (04/27/08 10:40 AM) Registered User More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think Jason's effusive declarations of his positive feelings for Alexis in his exit chats points to lots of eating/healing/bonding at the Ponderosa. He hates Natalie. And a vidcap above ^ of Amanda returning for Exile, with , surely the HII, and Erik,most likely winning immunity AGAIN, puts Alexis, who is rumored to win the RC and take Natalie, with a big new target on her back as a challenge threat. Amanda doesn't need to play the idol this week. Wonder if she even uses it NEXT week. Will Erik win immunity AGAIN? If he doesn't, then he's out at F5 and we have that final four of females much rumored to take place. So, it's Amanda, Natalie, Cirie and Parvati. And then, at that point, the HII is not worth anything anymore, right?
