I always find it interesting how during season 2 the producers, judges and a large number of the viewing public treated Kalan as a kind of God like figure who would surely become an international musical superstar while season 1 winner Ryan would just be a bad memory ("become the next Ryan Malcolm" was a phrase I heard used a lot at that time). Ryan and LLF are touring Ontario for the next few months and have dates in the US lined up after that. The band has also just released their third single and filmed their third music video. Meanwhile Kalan is doing what exactly? I also recall that after Eva won CI4 many people said Melissa just couldn't compete with her greatness. Melissa is singing 5 or 6 nights a week to mostly sold out audiences in the Dirty Dancing musical and Eva is doing what exactly? I guess it depends on what "good" means. If it means who was the best on CI then it is up to personal preference. If it means who is currently out there performing the most on a regular basis then Ryan and Melissa > the others. Really they are the only two doing anything noteworthy at all right now (as small as it may be).
