Why is Rob M on All Stars? |

I just dont get it. His tribe lost like every challenge. He only won until he was on Rotu and thats when Rotu started to loose to Maaraamu.
I think it would be cool and all if he was on cuz he is funny but over all he just didnt do good. There are other people who left before him who did great. |

It's more like entertaining/memorable/did-well all-stars.
Alot of people did well and were boring TV and just rode coattails. All-stars means Memorable stars probably. |

Because Rob Mariano was the most entertaining survivor of the entire series (along with Sean). He made a bucket full of jokes, made out with a chick, and intentionally caused arguments.
Rotu may have won almost all of the challenges...but none of them won Survivor in the end either... |

Boston Rob is my favorite Survivor of all time. That being said and my bias being revealed, had Neleh and Paschal started playing two days earlier than they did, John would've been out at 10 and Rob would've made at LEAST F6, probably F2. He did almost everything right, but it took the coconut challenge to clue in Pappy, Neleh, and Kathy.

He is on ASS because he is "Eye Candy" and pretty darn funny. ASS needs some comic relief besides Big Tom. Hopefully, he will last longer than the annoying Rob C. and sourpuss Tina.

Actually, it is a big mystery to me why he is there. I feel that John C. is more deserving than him. His looks isn't really spectacular much as his personality and more importantly his strategy stunk.

He is a LOT funnier than John C. and not as rigid. Us straight girls need our our candy, too. I don't really care if he wins, just hope he sticks around long enough to make it interesting. I can't WAIT to hear Bawston Rob and Big Tom having a conversation. Should be the funniest Survivor ever.

I love Boston Rob...he is one of my favorites of all time. Hopefully he kicks ass. He was hilarious.

Not only is Boston Rob funny, entertaining, and eye candy, but he is also a good strategist, smart player, and is willing to shake things up!
Think about it. First thing he did...boot Hunter. Sure, MAYBE they would have won with Hunter, but Rob knew that if they didn't he or Sarah (his puppet) would be going very soon. He also started not only Neleh and Paschal on the "turn on Rotu" trend, but also Kathy (who all made it far). He did all this in a very showy way too, which makes for great TV. Of course, if he learned his lesson, he will play a quieter game this time. Basically, he was just short of F6 the first time (if they would have turned on Rotu 4 earlier), and quite possibly F3 or winner if that would have happened. He 100% deserves to be there! |

If he had a good strategy, he'd managed to at least survive the merge and be a jury.

That is not 100% true. Sure, it sounds good, but you also have to take into account that he was down in numbers 7-3, with 4 of the 7 voting for him. He tried hard, but sadly the other 3 did not listen until too late (for Rob at least).

yep, the ONLY time he was straight up w/people, they didnt listen to him...mariano was a schemer and a half...if by chance, he got pots and pans out in ep 7, he wouldve made final 4 for sure and who knows what else he wouldve pulled out of his hat

He's there because we need someone to laugh at, being the legend in his own mind that he's shown he is. And also because the others know that he can't wait to get to Loser Lodge so he can start partying.
