Clearly refers to the swing vote - maybe eliza, says it, but they end up booting the swing vote. Maybe James says it? Sounds like something hed say

I don't even know what that means. So it must be said by someone not from my neck of the woods.
It makes me think of that old Batman tv series where they would always get captured by the Joker and wake up in an abandoned minimart where they were slowly but inexorably being fed into a giant slushy machine. Maybe the first individual immunity challenge involves standing in brine in the sun. (If Yau-Man were still on, he could tell us that those big green soaked in brine dill pickles actually conduct electricity. You can attach a wire to either end and hook it up to a battery (or to a wall outlet if you are drunk, er, careful, enough) and it will glow like a little green light bulb. The electricity does generate heat as well as light, so it dries out and loses conductivity.) Episode 9 should be about Jason and Eliza and the stick, but it's too gross to even think how that could be related to a pickle. |

I 100% guarantee you that it's not Eliza who says that. Trust me. She's a New Yorker who's in law school, for God's sake. That sounds like it
was said by someone in Nebraska in the 1950's. It's probably Eric. That's my guess. He's probably torn about who to vote with after the merge.

I've heard grandparent-type people say, 'I'm in a pickle' or 'what a pickle I'm in', but never a 'hot pickle'.

Erik does try at the fancy phrases now and then tho...who can forget 'you could run in to a wall a hundred times, that's still not the best way to get
rid of it' speech? I could DEFINITELY see him saying it...torn between his love for Ozzy and other alliances maybe...or in trouble for outing Ami in his
last, desperate attempt at something...makes sense to me...
