Mom's crazy
Dad's a douche Where the hell did they get all their money from? Zach is cool, Jeremy is a douche. I don't even remember the other two kids names. Do they matter? More little people, less perfectly normal offspring. |

I saw it on last night and realized I'd seen them before; guess I didn't know it was a series
guy's just trying to make a living but, it infringes on their home what a spread. |

They were on a TLC special about little people before they got their own series
The parents always pressuring Zach to hit on the girls at the little people conventions is interesting. Most little people I know of end up with average height people, but I guess getting their feet wet dating little people would probably be a lot easier. Jeremy dancing on his knees with the girls at the LPA convention was hilarious. That asian chick was allll over him. |

Does the Dad actually "DO" anything? Does he work? It just seems that he lets his wife do everything in the house, coach, feed, drive and generally handle the kids, and then bosses everyone around, offeres the occasional hug/advice and spins around in his little motorized fancy/expensive excuse for a golf cart.
That house is a HUGE mess...I thought my house was cluttered but she's actually stepping over/around stuff to get places in the house and into the kid's rooms! |

I think he lost his job and at some point she had to get one to compensate. Meanwhile no one else is helping around the house. I swear to god, my head would explode. |

Love it. I even e-mailed TLC a few weeks ago to see if I could contact the family, But they said no, it's all confidential and whatnot. (I work with a little person who loves this show.)

The lack of sheets on the beds gets to me too.
I'm liking the big bell she uses to wake the kids up. Gotta get me one of those - I can shake the shit out of my 13 year old boy and he STILL rolls over and won't get the hell up for school! I think ringing a big bell in his ear might get him moving. |

Dad also has the new business he started with a regular sized dude. It supplies hotels & offices with little people sized gagets like that kitchen stool mom uses, grabby things for reaching, little office chairs etc. Apparently it's just getting off the ground but they never said what he did before that. He does appear to be better off then his & her parents though.

chunky lover - hard to wake 13 yr old? When my dtr was that age and same way, I finally said, "you miss the bus again, you'll finish dressing in the car while I drive you to school." Well she did and we did, from nightgown to school clothes in a sub-compact all the way to school door. It only happened twice before she asked for a second alarm clock across the room, and started getting up on time. She still hates getting up in morning, so she works a night shift at a hospital.

Before the dad started his own business he was a higher up in a software company. Then he got laid off. It was mentioned in the first or second episode and that was it. Apparently he made a killing in software...a six figure income for over 10 years.
The mom seems to favour Zach over Jeremy because she can relate to him better. Dad seems to favour Jeremy over Zach because Jeremy's more outgoing, like he is. And I would go INSANE in a house that messy. I'm no neat freak, but that's just too messy. The dog could shit on the carpet and you'd never find it until the smell got too bad. |

This is the second week I have watched this. I finally put it on a Season Pass so I wouldnt miss it. Have I missed many episodes?
Very interesting. My heart breaks for the dad. They run all over him and I think he just wants nice things for his family. He runs his little ass off doing things. The older son needs an attitude adjustment. I am thinking its his smartass age and when he gets older and shows his children these shows he will be ashamed. But I agree.......I cant get pass the mess all over the house. Make the kids get off their rear ends and help clean! When dad and the boys were wrestling in the living room last night the bottom of their white socks were brown and things were sticking to them! Stuff was spewing out of the fireplace all over the carpet. AND they had invited friends over for New Years! Yuck. And its in EVERY room they go into, not just one. Stacks of crap everywhere and random trash on the floor. Doesnt seem to bother them though. I guess we all have different levels of comfort. |

I saw the mattress thing AGAIN a couple of weeks ago. Three times for me now. Now it's plain to see that the boys DO NOT have sheets on their beds. Talk about disgusting!!
Can't they get a maid? The least TLC could do is hiring a freaking cleaning crew. Geez. Quote: Give it some time. You'll be hating him soon. He's a douchebag! I do like it when he orders the normal sized people around, though.  Even Grandpa thinks he's an asshole.
