Which one of the Losties died and why? Also couldn't take being off the island? Died penniless and no one cared? Was it a person of color?
Damn it, I need theories here!

Funeral home in a not so desirable neighborhood. No one else comes.

Walt's daddy I bet. Why else would everyone hate him so much to ditch his funeral?

Why would Ben's funeral be held in the ghetto, though?
I dunno...perhaps it's Ben's. Pretty confusing, neat, twisty storyline to look forward to for the next couple of seasons. Cuz I know they probably won't answer it till the end of the series Once again, Jack fucks up and now we have to watch the reprecussions for the next season or two. Locke shoulda shot the bitch. |

Actually Michael might make sense. Perhaps he's hated by Kate because he betrayed them all for his return to the real world, and the ghetto part fits in..

I'm thinking they definitely were trying to convey that the deceased was black, but I think it could be someone we don't even know yet. My husband suggested Rose (her cancer came back) but I can't see her having a funeral where no one shows up. And I don't think Kate would have been so disdainful. I think whoever it is makes Kate feel bitter and Jack feel guilty. |

Me I think it's Sawyer funeral... that's why he calling Kate and asking her if she's feeling sad and stuff like that. And that's made sense that no one come to Sawyer funeral...no family... no friend.... nobody.
Ben would have "at least" his "daughter"... even if she don't like him... he raised her anyway. |

It is Lockes!!!!!!!!! Read my reason. I know I am right. It all makes sense. Who else would Jack go to if he wanted to go back to the island? Maybe the person that tried to keep him from leaving!!!! Ben or Locke!!!

I think it was supposed to be Michael's. There was a rumor a couple of months ago that he was asked to be on the finale and he turned it down. I think it boiled down to him wanting more money.

Perhaps it WAS Locke. He had no one back home. Jack's guilt would fit. Kate's hate would fit.
And that may have been a "pauper's" funeral home. |

Re: Whose Funeral Was It? | ||

I'm thinking it's Locke as well. Who the hell would go to his funeral besides maybe Walt? A regretful Jack who realized that Locke had a point and wishes to return. Everyone else probably felt Locke was a dick and thus refused to go to his funeral since he kept trying to get everyone stuck there.
