A former 'Mr Gay UK' has been charged with murdering a man, amid fears that part of the victim's leg was chopped up and chunks of it eaten. When police discovered the body of Damian Oldfield, 33, at a terraced house in Harehills, Leeds, they are said to have found part of his right leg had been carved up and the flesh diced and cooked on a kitchen worktop and that his rectum had been used as a sausage casing for his ground-up penis. It is thought tests showed the flesh was human, and needed a little salt. A police source told a newspaper: "It appears it was being prepared for cooking." Police believe Mr Oldfield, an advertising executive for gay lifestyle magazine Bent, was stabbed to death on Wednesday or Thursday of last week. A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police were called to Bexley Place in Harehills at 2.30am on Thursday, April 24. "On arrival officers discovered the body of a 33 year old man. "A 35-year-old man has been charged with murder." The force would not confirm any other information about the killing. Anthony Morley, 35, from Doncaster - who won the Mr Gay UK competition in 1993 aged 20 - appeared in court earlier this week charged with Mr Oldfield's murder. He has been remanded in custody. He is due to appear before magistrates in Leeds again on Monday, when it is expected the case will be sent to crown court. Morley and Mr Oldfield were thought to be friends but not lovers. After being crowned the winner of the beauty pageant at a Blackpool nightclub in 1993, Morley enjoyed a brief spell as a minor celebrity on the gay scene, making a guest appearance at the London Pride festival and opening a holiday complex for gays in Gran Canaria. In his submission for the competition, Morley said his hobbies were "dancing and body building" and that he "likes to please people". Although the competition has been around in various guises since the mid 1980s, it only took on its current name and format in 1993, making Morley its first winner.
