I sort of feel bad for the guy. Surely he never imagined by the time he was turned 30 he'd be married to an overbearing wife like Kate and father to 8 kids. I was suprised to see the next day that there was no thread here. I didn't really like either of the parents. She was a bitch and he just seemed like an all-around grump. I would never want to be one of their kids. I saw on their website that they do speaking engagements. So...having sextuplets make you interesting enough to have people pay big bucks to hear you blabber about who knows what?

I think Leah and Joel are my favorites. Kate is way too controlling and Jon is far too much of a grouch but their relationship seems to work.

Joel was so particular about which chickens he was going to feed. I also liked the most recent episode where all the little kids were banging on the door because they wanted to eat. Nothing comes between those babies and food.

I was pissed the Amish guy let that crying Mady drive the horses after ther fit. She's nearly 7, that's old enough to not throw those fits IMO.

I like it a lot better than those ridiculous people who have like 17 kids and they have a special and show us how they organize their unnecessarily huge family. Like really how unfair is it for the parents to have so many kids that their older children are forced to take care of kids their entire lives. Getting back to this show Kate is such a bitch, she's annoying. Hopefully she mellows out when the kids are older and it's less chaotic because they can do things for themselves and you don't have to monitor them 24/7.
