Anyone else watch?
I'm enjoying it so far.
If all else fails, there's always Josh Duhamel and Vanessa Marcil to watch. And their acting isn't half bad, either.

Pretty good show, I thought. Some zippy camera work. Danny does have quite the habit of putting his foot in his mouth though.

Not bad. A bit slow in parts. Kept waiting for the dead body and the CSI team to appear and dust the place.
They need to lose the voiceover bits though. Too distracting and he doesn't have the resonance to pull it off. Inaudible at times. Is it normal for a head of security to strut around like he owns the place, much less his daughter? The steely pit boss seems to have the most potential for character developmentĀI hope she gets more air time. |

Like it a lot (although I was hoping it would suck so Vanessa would come back to General Hospital).
So what's the deal with Greg? I assume that's his brother? What do you think? |

1. The pit boss - She had an incredible body. The shots of her back side were very hot.
2. I couldn't figure out who the body was either. 3. Wouldn't that bunny guy have been "persuaded" to leave the suite a little more? Not physically, but I don't really think the bunny guy would have been in there for long once they found the whale. 4. I like how they focus o the operations of the casino, but I can do without the zommy camera gimmicks. |

I watched this last night. Not bad. Interesting how tv hasn't really ever explored casino life (and yeah yeah dreg up 1000 other casino tv shows to prove me wrong, fuck off).
So this seemed a little breath of fresh air-ish to me That being said, doubt I will watch it week after week |

The part where they're using mini-cams to see the dealer's hole card ... doubt it. Unless there's a Blackjack/Insurance scenario in play, dealers don't look at their hole card until they play.
At least, the good ones don't, for pretty much the reason that it could be seen. After you've dealt a few million hands in your life and you're not in the game with your own money, most dealers don't really care what their hole card is. Outside of that, I did enjoy the show. I expect similar stretching of real casino play in the future - a TV show is NOT going to show us how to break the bank, any more than James Coburn's infomercial videotape. I also do not know who the guy was sleeping in the desert at the start/end of the show. Opinions? I guess we find out in am epi to come. I'll be watching! |

I was waiting for this one.
Couldn't wait to see Josh Duhamel in prime time. I was a huge fan of his work on All My children (and I don't go for the "young hot stud" types - but this kid was born to act) I thought the show was a little boring, but I realize that it had to set up all the relationships and what-not. Josh is going to be great though. BTW: I liked the voiceover effect...kinda takes the edge off his character's cocky, say-anything personality with those private moments of self-doubt. And I'd bet the guy "sleeping" in the desert, is the brother his Dad reminded him to call, and his friend asked him about. And I'm pretty sure he's dead. |

I thought the camera system seemed a little dubious, as in why would it take them so long to have figured it out? People have used such systems before, after all.
As for the head of security, these people are like gods in casinos, so perhaps as long as he keeps the money rolling in the casino he can do whatever he wants. The bunny-slippers guy wouldn't have been allowed to keep that suite (I find it odd that they would have even given him that suite considering they were hunting for the whale--wouldn't you want to have the suite available the nano-second he walks in?) At any rate, the show was still mostly enjoyable, there seems to be some interesting people for the show to play, so all in all it looks like it might be a keeper. |

I liked the show. Pretty entertaining. I hope that they do follow the csi model and don't get too caught up in their interpersonal relationships, ya know? I was waiting for Robert D to come out and smash that guys hand a la Casino.
Anyone know where it was filmed? There was a very big Mandalay Bay feel to it - the front parking lot and the view of the strip... |

I liked the show too. The whole Las Vegas scenario is interesting like it is in CSI.

I really enjoyed this picture. The only negative for me was the boss' daughter. She needs to be killed-off the show pronto.

Did anyone else notice the stretch marks on her tatoo'd butt?

The boss's daughter's butt, in the sex scene with Josh. (Don't know the character's names)

I saw the stretch marks in question. It was right as the camera panned down to the side of her butt, past the tattoo. i'm not 100% convinced they were actually stretch marks though, mine are more raised

It's probably the most watchable new show in NBC's fall line-up.

James Caan is perfect as the scary casino boss. It looks good.

Eh. It still hasn't hit it's stride yet. It was another average show last night.
For the Las Vegas backdrop, it's rather bland. Where's the drama? I'm glad they are FINALLY going to have a storyline about the pit boss lady next week. She's a character I wish they'd show more. At least she seems interesting. They seriously need to spice up the storylines. |

Actually there is hope for the show. Molly Sims (The boss' daughter) broke up with Danny. That frees them up to have interesting storylines w/Danny and the Pit Boss. Hopefully, NBC will give this show time so the supporting characters can develop. Aside from the bosses daughter, they have pretty interesting characters. It is also nice to see Cheryl Ladd back on the screen. I'll give a few more weeks.
