I got the pilot and first 2 epis on DVD from netflix today...sorry anti.
2 hours and 44 minutes.. i think i'll just watch the first one tonight.. yay.. i can be one of the cool kids now :) i'm excited to see what all the fuss is about. |

You'll be hooked for life once you view the initial Locke flashback episode. Still one of the best things I've ever seen done on TV.

Watched the first 4 epis this weekend..
GREAT show.. I likeee! I have a bunch of questions, but i'm assuming most will be answered on the next disks... ok, someone tell me (without giving away too much).. what's the old guy's secret that he told to the little boy? oh, and are those really polar bears?? :) thanks. |

i watched that episode! grrrr.. must've been when a kid was bugging me..

Yea, before he got to the island he was confined to a wheelchair and suddenly when they crashed he could walk again.

ah.. yes.. i did see that.. i saw his flashback....
i thought it was something else he may have shared with the kid. thanks. i really like the characters.. quite a mix of people.. i'm concerned for the preggo girl tho... i can't imagine giving birth in that situation, or caring for a newborn. |

Stacey, I'm envious. I wish I'd never seen any of it yet so I could see it all again for the first time.
And FYI, we're still not sure exactly what secret Locke told Walt. Some people just assumed it was that he was in a w/c & could now walk. It could have been something far more profound or it could have been something mundane like guavas give me the shits. |

You'll get a nice piece of "the scruffy dude's" story in the eppy "Confidence Man." (It's right after "The Moth," where Charlie deals with his drug addiction. You're almost to both these eppys! Keep watching!)

I don't know all of the character's names yet..
claire is the pregnant woman Jack is the doctor/leader (Which one's locke?) I like how the chinese couple's storyline is developing i only watched the first 2 epis on this disk last night.. i'll watch the other two tonight. |

Locke is the bald dude. He was nominated for a best actor Emmy for his performance in Season 1 so pay attention to his superb acting. (He lost out to Shatener...ugh.) Locke's my favorite character as you can see by my avi.
