I swear to God, I called it at the beginning of the episode. And when they showed him off the island with a beard and immediately cut to him on the island without the beard, it solidified it for me. I wasn't very surprised.

Yeah me too. Plus we'd never seen drunk Jack in the past, so it had to be the future.
Golden Pass -- presumably that's a fly-for-free for life pass that Oceanic gave the survivors as a present for the ordeal. |

Either way with Jack's father being alive it was still the future. How do we know Jack wasn't just extremely upset and wasn't just like, "Bring my father here, oh yea...he's dead! Guess you can't."

Yeah, I think Jack was just spaced out - they threw that in there just to throw people off the scent if they were guessing right.
Sarah could have a second or third child right? If that's her first, then we have a pretty distinct time line. |
