It is amazing how written conversations were so much more elegant the longer it took for communication and how the faster it has gotten the more dumbed down it has become. If text messaging had existed during the revolutionary war this: I was very unquiet from the moment I was informed that more troops were coming to Boston. Having said that I have a few peeps that do txt me, and i have an auto reply option on my phone (example: type "I", and it auto completes "I love you"). So just hit a key, let it auto complete whatever comes up. Why would you type when you can call me on my cell phone? We can have a 2 minute conversation or we can txt back and forth for an hour with useless shit. Plus don't you cringe when you get to txt number 2 in a mindless conversation? Texting is stupid.
