Why, on military uniforms, are the stars on blue in the upper right? It's also this way on Air Force One.
It looks like the flag is backwards. Is there a reason, or a special meaning for this?

Normally, the American Flag is depicted with the stars on blue in the upper left hand corner.

Found this through google, from a Yahoo question/answer page :
"The flag on uniforms is designed as though it is waving from the uniform thus the star spangled blue canton is at the front to give the waving appearance as the soldier moves forward. The same is on Air Force One or any other plane with the flag painted on it." |
