a friend of mine's daughter has a friend who she thinks is being bopped by the mother's new boyfriend. He took her on a $1000 shopping spree (the kid
is 12), and now the kid is going with any guy and doing whatever they want her to and rejecting her friends. Then there was the hotel restaurant receipt she
found in the kid's shoe, and the time she wet the bed at a sleepover which she'd never done before. I keep telling her to call the girl's mother or
the school counselor, but she doesn't want to get involved or keeps thinking the mother will notice.
She ain't gonna notice and this kid is already scarred for life. |

Is one of your mommies hitting the other mommy? Or is Daddy about to kill another step-mommy?
If it is your sister you take her out of the situation and ask questions/deal with the fall out later. She's under age, right? With grown ups you just say "I think that you are being hurt by someone who you believe loves you. I won't press you but want you to know that I will be by your side in a flash if you need me. If I'm wrong I apologize for upsetting you." Then you leave it at that. Adults who do not have mental retardation or severe mental illnesses should be left alone to sort out their own lives. You can't convince them to do shit anyway. All you can do is be there to take them away when they are ready to leave. |

My cousin lived with this guy who was the most mentally abusive assface I've ever heard of.
He was in a wheelchair and hated the world (especially her) because of it. One night I went to visit and he rolls out into the kitchen where we were talking and starts going on about what a useless piece of shit she was. She sat there and quietly took it for about 15 minutes and then grabbed his wheelchair and drove it through the wall with him in it. Now that's entertainment. |

Your aunt is an adult and unless he's physically endangering her life - there won't be much you can do except what Tres said. Why some women put up
