timnz2000, how do you make all your logos? They are so cool. Do you have a layout or something? I would like to make a logo for future places of Survivor. Can you give everyone the layout and help us all out?

I use Word. Zoom in so the logo covers the whole screen, then use Word shapes to make the logo (the point-to-point polygon is especially good), then click View > Full Screen and press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. Then paste the whole thing into a graphics program such as Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) and shrink it down to a decent size and then save.

Thx timnz2000. I'm planning on making a Survivor: India logo. By the way. what animal or thing do u think i should put on the logo, I was thinking about a tiger.

A tiger would be hard to silhouette, because you need the stripes to make it recognisable. You could give it a go, though.
diva, click View > Toolbars and make sure that Drawing is ticked. On the Drawing toolbar, click Autoshapes > Lines and click the bottom-center button (this is on Word 97, it may be different on other versions. It's called Freeform, just look it up in help if you can't find it). Then you can trace around photos or just make shapes using this tool. If you need precision circles, etc, they are there too. |

Can you give me a better and easier animal to silhouette other than a tiger? You are the master as making Survivor logos. I'm just a beginner so it can't be too hard. thx again.

I don't really know that many animals in India. Maybe an elephant or a cow? Cows are sacred there, don't you know.

Can anybody make a Hawaii and Alaska logo for me? I've tried but I just can't live up to Timnz standards...

timnz2000, do you know how you can put the swirls in the water like the Marquesas, Thailand, and Amazon logos have at th bottom of the logo. The swirls in the water give it the effect that it is a real logo.

Sorry about that, well the I got the font from the document that timnz posted it in the beginning of this thread. I need to find out how to do the water look at the bottom of the logo to finish it, I was just posting it to see how it looks. Well does the "tiger" really look like a cheetah? That was the only pic of a "cat-like" creature that I can find that most resembles a tiger.

It's an entire database of pictures. Set the search options for Animals, Clip Art, and Black and White. Then search for Tiger. |
