CIRIE: It's the Cirie show. It wasn't so simple as her deciding which foursome to go with -- both feeling entitled to "use" her as the
fifth wheel. While Yau-Man was voted out, it wasn't because she "chose" the Rombers. She worried about him finding the idol. Cirie thought of
what was best for her. (Don't you love it when a castaway gets angry when another player does what it is in their own interest instead of the castaway
with entitlement's?)
Cirie broke BOTH alliances. This season is about WOMEN dominating and the men outwitting and outplaying themselves. Watching James scratch his head that Cirie seems to be calling the shots instead of him and Jonathan not being able to control her either, only shows how she's the same great player who engineered the 3-2-1 Courtney boot. While I'm rooting for Jonathan, she's doing a great job. S11 was edited to show how StephaME lost (instead of how it should have been edited, showing how Danni won.) Whether Cirie wins or loses, that's what we are going to be shown. AMANDA: She'll dump Ozzy in a heartbeat if she has to. Has she learned anything from China? It's a social game. Funny. She was out there without knowing if she had already won a million dollars in China, which of course she hadn't. The sad thing is that out there she probably didn 't see how bad her jury performance was to know she needed to change.) AMI: Well, she voted against Cirie directly. If a woman's alliance has indeed form, it would be really odd and ironic that Vanuatu's biggest proponent of a woman's alliance wasn't included. Her vote for Cirie explains why she would be targeted sooner rather than later. ELIZA: Her vote for Yau-Man is very revealing. Cirie refuses to vote for her. Obviously they have a side deal. She'll be able to tag onto Amanda/Cirie/Parvarti for awhile if that final 3 deal they formed on the fishing raft is real. (Imagine, we may have been shown the real deal instead of the bluff!). Note: Ami and Eliza are often standing around when Amanda and Parvati are talking strategy. Take another look at the episode. The women are stronger and more aligned than we've been shown. JAMES: James showed us why he was outwitted out of two HIIs in China. He just stands there as other people make power moves around him. He's incredibly likeable and incredibly strong, but he's just not going to win this. JONATHAN: He played his heart out. He was abrasive, but that's just who he is out there. He is my favorite of the favorites. Please, please, please let him find the hidden idol! Did I say, please? He is on the outs. However, what made him so likeable on Cook Islands was the way he faced adversity. If another chance at "mutiny" comes this season, he should take it. He has nothing left to lose. (Please find the idol!) Those were a man's hands uncovering that rock in the preview for next week and if it isn't a stand-in, they could be Jonathan's! (Please find the idol!) OZZY: This episode we saw how Yul outwitted him for the win in Cook Islands. He's great at challenges, but he isn't the brain trust. He probably doesn't realize he's just been outwitted. Probst said there'd be lots of blindsides this season. Ozzy is guaranteed to be one of them. Guaranteed. He's an outplayer, not an outwitter. PARVATI: She's not just a bimbo like Sarah-S4. She's a bimbo with a plan! She's smarter than people think. In a way, people thinking she's a bimbo plays into her advantage. She will cut James off easily when the time is right. She totally has an Allison-BB4 vibe this season. YAU-MAN: Poor guy. Believe it or not, he wasn't voted off for being weak. He was voted off for his strength. In an odd way, his getting the first immunity idol was a game-ending move in hindsight. He left with class. I still cannot get over he was practically invisible in his boot episode. It was obvious from the way he looked at TC and the way other people talked openly at TC that he knew he was going. No blindside here. He left with class. I like him. I'll miss him. (But one trip to Exile Island and he would have found that idol for sure.) ALEXIS: She's the only fan who gets screen time where isn't shown to be an idiot. She will be the last fan standing, whether that's final 3 or not. Hers was the only non-MikeyB voting confessional last week. "Sorry, I'm voting with the majority." While Joel and MikeyB form their circular firing squad and Chet/Tracy/Kathy provide cannon fodder, and Natalie plays Johnny Belinda, and Erik acts like a 14 year old and Jason bumbles around, she becomes the real threat. Like Ozzy and James, the alpha males will miss it totally. CHET: Cannon fodder. All I can think of is that SEG didn't want two gay men in a row winning so they cast Chet. But, if he can duck, he can outlast the circular firing squad between MikeyB and Joel. ERIK: He's a follower, not a leader. He's no threat, and he comes off as childlike. With so many targets on Airai, from would-be puppeteers to the canon fodder, he'll be the last Airai man standing. JASON: Well, he aligned with MikeyB and isn't in Joel's alliance. However, with so many other targets, like Erik, he may reach the merge by default rather than anything he does on his own behalf. JOEL: I've decided he's an idiot -- a macho idiot. While I admired the skill with which he had Mary ejected, in hindsight it was a dumb move. He already has people on the tribe know that he cannot be trusted and he's a threat. If MikeyB had targeted one of his allies, it would have made more sense. Joel shot his wad on the first boot in his tribe. Why? It didn't advance him at all. As I said on another thread, he's like one of those idiots who revves up a sports car in congested traffic and speeds from red light to red light only to stop along with everyone else, just to show everyone he has a sports car. He doesn't actually get anywhere any faster. I'm not impressed. He saved Chet/Tracy, two weak people he isn't aligned with, and put the target right on him. It was an alpha-male move for the sole desire to make an alpha-move. What bothered him was that Mikey B "thought" he was in charge, not that Mikey B was threatening him or his core alliance in any way. Strutting around like peacock showing his feathers. IDIOT. KATHY: I like her. She doesn't seem mentally weak to me. She's and odd duck, but who isn't in their own way? But not being liked and being on the outside of her tribe is bad news. If she finds that idol, good for her. She will probably spend a LOT of time on Exile Island. MIKEY B: He may have sounded whiny in his post-TC confessional, but he made good points. He's a goner and soon. Like Andrew in S7, he isn't adapting to the new reality. What he SHOULD do now is go over to Chet/Kathy/Tracy and cut a deal. He cannot get over his personal feelings that they don't deserve to be there, like Andrew couldn't get over his anger that Lil got to return to the game, to do what he needs to do to save himself. One needs to be able to adapt on a dime in this game and he's shown an inability to do it. If a "mutiny" opportunity comes, he should take it, but he won't. He'll stay on the same team feeling resentful that they didn't boot "less-worthy" tribemates first. Another would be alpha-male who will be shown the door. Maybe Joel, MikeyB, James and Ozzy can form a broken hearts club after the season is over. NATALIE: Is she mute? I have no recollection of what her voice sounds like. Has she had a single confessional? We know she makes the family reward. Pure under-the-radar. She has even less screen time than Amber in the first few episodes of S2. TRACY: Her tribemates run her down, but we don't actually see her belly flop through the game the way Chet does. I wish we could see more of her so we could get to know her better. -------------- It's a great season. Unlike ASS, where nearly all my favorite returnees were either voted off early or played really badly compared to their previous seasons, where I despised Robfather in S4 and hated seeing him take the slot that should have gone to Brian-S5, and hating the fact he did the same obnoxious act in ASS, but thankfully lost, the whole ASS season was a debacle for me. There's no one returning who I inherently don't like, and there's no "source-spoiler" that's given away the whole season, and I'm really enjoying myself in a way I haven't since sourced spoilers have been giving away boot lists. |

Yet ANOTHER Insider video from Alexis-this time a very long interview clip about the reward.
That's 3 for 3 videos for Alexis. They could easily have had videos from any other person on the fan tribe. Alexis is getting the lion's share of Insider videos. |

Excellent point regarding Cirie and Eliza Coach
Amanda had to know she did poorly in the China final TC, but maybe not as badly as she did. Only Neleh was as bad IMHO.

I am enjoying myself with this season too but I would find it infinitely more enjoyable without the showmances. Very sorry to see Yau-Man gone, he is such a great guy. He had a very classy exit. Nice! |

I can't get past the feeling that there's more going on that we haven't been shown. Granted, that's true of every season - but I think
they're deliberately hiding IMPORTANT stuff, this season
The Faves apparently have some sort of pre-determined order in which they'll hit EI, since Ami jumped forward so quickly and Cirie was worried about Yau's turn. But is there a strategy to it? It didn't look like Cirie had shared any information about the first four clues, so it can't be a group effort to keep the HII away from the Fans And both Eliza and Ami not voting with their alliance still blows my mind I'm with you, Coach - I desperately want something (HII or tribal switch or something) to happen to get Penner's head out of the guillotine. If there's a secret women's alliance, he's the logical next one to go. Ozzy and James are convenient for challenge wins, but neither of them have much going on in the grey-matter department and will be easy blindsides later on. Penner on the other hand, will keep picking and poking until one of them slips and shows their hand |

^^^^ I think you may get your wish.
On the challenge board there is Switch listed on the day after TC4. Since it seems like maybe the fans are going to TC next time, that means the favs will all remain to be shuffled around. That bodes well for people like Jonathan who really would have been in trouble if his tribe stays intact. |

Keep in mind though, come tribal switch, Jonathan did no favors for himself this episode when he taunted the fans during the immunity challenge. If he's on
a tribe where the fans have a majority, he'll have a heck of a time trying to convince them to keep him.
It'll be interesting to see how the couples are split (if that even happens) come switch time. I wonder if they'd get put in the same situation like Amber was put in on the first ASS. |

Did anyone think of Alexis' quote from episode 1 while watching last night's episode? The quote about the favorites' weaknesses?
Imagine if a fan can monopolize on that. We're supposed to see the 4orgy as stable and the others as unstable. Yet, they focused on Pavarti in episode 1 when Alexis made her quote. |

Cirie is a total arse currently...
I'm glad Ami voted for her... I bet Cirie thinks Jonathan voted against her! They'll probably do a tribe merge, switch, or twist or whatever after fourth player gets voted off (usual time with a regular 16 people, but in Cook Islands, several twists like that happened) |

Once again like in 100% ASS, MB is turning the original edit on its head, just so he can get off on how he can make you love or hate anyone he desires with the
help of Avid. What an ASS. Don't believe the HYPE!
Like I said in the pre-Game threads, I think the Faves are DOOMED. By OVERCOMPENSATING for their perceived "Weaknesses." And this is starting to play out now: CIRIE: She was bold enough to take on both Aras and Terry, YOOOOOGE honking Threats on Exile Island. Two massive players who she could have BEATEN in the F2 because her Social Game and Strategic Game was magnificent. Now she's worried about Yau-Man getting a HII when NO ONE will send Yowie to EI for that exact reason? And and herself with Poverty and Amanda to create a "Meh" Final 3 where none of them deserve a million dollars. And expect MonkeyDolphinBoy NOT to win the final, crucial ICs WHY??? A WORLD FULL OF FAIL. PENNER: By trying to be "Mr. Alliance" when everyone knows he's a world-class FLIPPER. AMI: By NOT holding onto a strong alliance. Not making the deal Cirie did, where she could have made Amavarti look like her pawns. ELIZA: For caving into the dominant alliance and trying to suck up to the young gals, where she's CLEARLY the lowest person. Instead of being the Free Agent willing to ax anyone at any time. NOT playing a Bad Hand to the hilt and winning a $1M for it. JAMES: For being too connected to the dominant alliance. Strength + Power = MEGATHREAT. First Jury boot. Bank on it. OZZY: Ditto. POVERTY & THIRD PLACE: For coming out too soon with the game. They are such obvious targets. |

I think Jason's confessional about making it through the night avoiding "Spiders and Scorpions" is very telling.
In Survivorology, "Spiders" are female players who try to lure other players into a false sense of complacency about their Threat while getting other players to do their bidding using their feminine wiles. Spider imagery was used extensively with TINA and JENNA M. "Scorpions" refers to Game Theory about players who have no chance and only work to THWART those that do. It goes back to the fable of The Frog and the Scorpion. |

Maybe-but I'm not getting much from Jason right now. Plus, I'd really like to see a female winner. But if it came down to it, I'd rather another
male winner over Parvati.
I think the theme of last episode was paranoia and "playing the endgame in the beginning". We started off with the Joel / Mikey thing. Mikey was 100% correct. Joel tried to take out Mary when he actually had Mike, Mary, Alexis, Natalie, Jason, and Erik in his pocket. There was no danger immediately. If Joel was so secure with his alliance with Alexis, Natalie, and Erik then why the hell did he feel he needed to break up Mike/Mary now? He could wait it out and use his secure alliance to snap them later. Mike/Mary had NO intention of doing anything to Joel. But now Mike certainly does. STUPID! Playing the endgame in the beginning is the dumbest thing you can do. We've seen that everytime. Then we moved to the Cirie situation. Sure, Cirie feels dejected because JAYE chose JFP over her in the first 3 days. However, Cirie went to great lengths to save Eliza. Makes you think she and Eliza have something. If that is true, why not make a 3-way alliance with Eliza and Ami just to take out Jonathan and Yau later? Was Cirie THAT afraid of Yau's possible idol find? So she makes an endgame pact with Amanda and Parvati? And Ozzy and James are in that alliance? So, you get down to the end and one of the guys is gone but the other sweeps immunity, putting Cirie on the chopping block because she's the outsider. DUMB DUMB DUMB! Cirie may or may not succeed with this plan, but it now seems like all the road signs point to failure. Still, who the hell does that leave as a possible winner? Who's taking advantage of all the egos eating each other apart? |

The Faves drew Rocks for Exile Island each time=Yau
|
In his radio interview archived elsewhere in MESS, Yau-Man says that each time they(the Faves)drew rocks to see who would go to Exile Island because THEY ALL
WANTED TO GO!!! Unlike in Season's past...lolol ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is why
Cerie was so over-worked-up about Yau's perhaps going, because who goes there was out of her control. Cerie as a control freak. Who knew?
___________________________________________________________________ But the upcoming switch is bound to break up one or maybe BOTH couples...And wasn't
there a question from Ozzy about the "nice girl" from the Fans who wanted to know if he was attached? Would that have been Alexis? The switch throws
Ozzy and Alexis together and that's the team for the end game, as VG points out that Ozzy gets the idol?
___________________________________________________________________ Amanda may not like this one bit, obviously...Or Ozziously...Alexis emerging as the Clued
new Mastermind makes sense in an Ozzy+idol+her situation.... ___________________________________________________________________ Does this mean the Fans win
reward and Alexis choses to go to spend time with the Oz-Man? Whom she helps select to send there to "weaken" him and he finds the idol PLUS another
hot girl...Hmmmmm.....:)

BurgMILF |

|
Refering to the Early Show interview Probst did and the question about a relationship between a fan and a favorite...maybe what we have seen wasn't the big
scene. Perhaps Alexis and Ozzy get into a relationship as well? This could also be how the relationships play out all the way to the end...Amanda/ Ozzy/ Alexis
in a mix of final players and jury voting. Ozzy/ Alexis make it to final 3 and Amanda is deciding vote for the other person because she finds out Ozzy two
timed her! or Amanda/ Alexis in finals Ozzy having to choose between his ladies in vote.
Although nice girl could also have been Natalie (Yau wasn't sure which one). Maybe how she makes it so far or to family visit at least. |

Playing out til the end...
|
I think this is exactly right. Ozzy(we see his hands picking up the rock under which the idol is presumably hidden per VGs clue) and Alexis end up on E.I. i
think this next ep. because the fans win the reward(maybe) and Alexis makes them pick Ozzy to go there and she goes, too... And a THIRD Showmance starts
between Ozzy and Alexis...So this HUGE cross-tribal triangular love affair starts between Amanda/Ozzy/Alexis. And Ozzy has the idol... I can totally see this
story playing out til the end...We don't know where Ozzy ends up...Explains what saves Alexis from being pagonged from the Fans tribe. And Natalie is her
chief alliance member and she's there at the end, too. The Family Visit anyway...If the minute amount of spoilers are to be believed...
