I was thinking the same thing Kirblar..... Mikey B is rumoured to leave early, and I could see one of those three you mentioned pitting Mikey against Joel to
take the target off of their own alliance members back.

I disagree - I'm guessing Tracy or another outcast tries to get Joel and Mikey against each other to try and save herself, but fails because
of "unexpected mastermind" Alexis (who isn't unexpected based on the insider videos but we haven't seen strategising from her on the show.
Natalie would only be expected if we knew anything about her).
That would explain how Tracy leaves before Chet too. Mikey's exit is more likely to be down to a swap. I can't believe they'd call any player who leaves soon a 'mastermind' and Tracy/Chet/Mikey all leave early (there's a slim chance it's Kathy since she won't be voted out but I don't see her having the social skills to pull something off, especially since we know her allies all get booted quickly). |

There's yet another video on Insider with Alexis. It's spot on. She talks about how much time her tribe spends on who is leaving rather than staying
strong. She is getting tired of people spending time talking about TC when they aren't even going that's zapping them of all their challenge and
survival energy.
As far as a mastermind, it could be one of the Chet-Kathy-Tracy people, but none of them will last. I wouldn't mind seeing Alexis become the unexpected mastermind (have we been leading up to this?). However, I wouldn't be surprised if it were one of the favs (Eliza?). Although I am not sure which of the favs would be unexpected. They are all known to be capable of doing some thinking. Eliza would hardly be unexpected. She's known to have a good head on her shoulders in terms of the game. Right now we have two wars: Joel vs Mikey and Cirie vs Jonathan. It makes much more sense for a fan to say "hey, let's just get rid of both of those clods". |

She talks about how much time her tribe spends on who is leaving rather than staying strong. That makes it even more likely Alexis will rally to boot one of the weak older players despite drama between Joel and Mikey (the opposite of Zhan Hu's mistake in booting Ashley or Dave despite neither of them being the weakest) Ami could be an "unexpected mastermind" to anyone who hadn't watched Vanuatu, but I'm 90% sure it's talking about the fans, especially since they're supposed to lose so many players pre-jury - if it is about the faves it would be a Jonathan blindside, but I'm guessing Tracy/Kathy/Mikey/Ami all leave before him based on the spoilers. Will this explain why Natalie goes far?Probst's negative comments about her make it likely she's just a goat (and the edit supports that so far) - she lucked into the alliance that Alexis/Joel/Erik started (and confirmed by Jason's oldie hate) and can survive longer than Joel/Erik/Jason by not being a physical threat. Unexpected would be "sweet" Alexis or "crazy" Kathy having brains, not invisible Natalie.

I would think that this "unexpected mastermind" would be successful, otherwise they wouldn't label them as an "unexpected
mastermind".

Now that I think about it, Joel could very likely be the targeted ally.
Tracy,Chet, and Kathy could target Joel and try to bring in Mike and Jason. Mike may be more desperate to get rid of Joel than the people he considers worthless. Alexis could make a secret side alliance that includes Natalie, Erik, and Jason (the last 4 to make the merge from the fans) and spare Joel, who is needed for challenges. I dunno-probably wishful thinking, but I'd like to see Alexis as the person who emerges as the mastermind. |

Tracy,Chet, and Kathy could target Joel and try to bring in Mike and Jason.I'm not sure why they'd want to work with Jason given they already seem to clash. Outcasts working with Joel against Mike (given he has already shown he isn't just going to target weak players like Mikey planned on doing) makes more sense to me than vice-versa - that was Alexis doesn't need a secret-side alliance, she just needs to keep a bunch of knuckleheads in line (potentially blindsiding whichever outcast gets in the firing line) |

If Alexis is supposed to go far and be a power player, then this is her episode to shine. Based on her Insider clips, she's smart and knows the game, and
I have a feeling she might be a Danni next to a Favorite's Stephenie in a Final Vote. That doesn't mean she'll be totally UTR, but I'm not
seeing any major moves from her. She's in an alliance with Joel and I can't imagine her trying to oust him. Sounds to me like this is Mikey's
boot episode. Tracy's a possibility as well. Who the mastermind is, I have no idea. If it's a Fan, I'll go with the general consensus and say
it's either Alexis or Tracy.

Tracy might leave early only if she is found to be the mastermind behind the Joel/Mikey B face off at TC. I can see one of those who remains trying to
rationalize what happened and then figuring out that it must be Tracy (the outcast) who started all this so she can save her own butt for 3 more days. Then
that person would have the tribe turn on her. I'm guessing it's joel since he did it so well with Mary's departure.

Well it's definitely Tracy who pits Mikey B/Joel against each other... you can even hear her in the preview at the end of Ep 3.

I'm gonna say that just by guessing, it either seems like a guy will find a fake HI or the real one, or Kathy will be sent there again, and thats when she
goes crazy, and they'll still have Tribal Coucil and another person will be voted out.

I read "mastermind emerges" as someone who will last. If the mastermind is Tracy and she leaves, the whole premise of "emerges" is for
nothing. Sure, she may emerge, but then fall in the same episode? That's a waste of a promo.
It's one thing to say "will the women stick together?" (usually means no they won't). Or even "will the new plan work?". But when it says "a mastermind emerges" it sounds like somene who hasn't even been involved in the conflict. Tracy has already been involved in the voting strategy on screen. Then again, they probably don't think that much when making promos. |

Tracy pits Joel against Mikey in an effort to save Chet (either pulling Mikey into her side or trying to side her group with Joel's).
Alexis then steps in and plans Tracy's departure, which is easy given that Joel doesn't even consider voting out Mikey at this point (I guess). Tracy is blindsided, voted off first despite being the last one on the Oldie alliance pecking order. |

That actually makes sense and is possibly wishful thinking.
The obvious targets are Chet and Kathy. However, Mike wants Joel secretly gone so Tracy campaigns with Mikey to get rid of Joel (ain't gonna happen). Meanwhile, Joel is pressed hard to get rid of Mikey. Those two get sidetracked. Meanwhile the other 4 (Alexis, Natalie, Jason, Erik) see that Tracy is trying to cut down the tribe by doing that, so they rally to get rid of Tracy. So Tracy tries to campaign against Joel and Mikey in order to save Chet or Kathy but gets booted instead. Kinda like what the favs should have done against Cirie. However, I think it is wishful thinking to see Alexis take the lead-it makes perfect sense with all of the insiders, but we can only hope. |

Jason, anyone? | ||
|
It could be Jason, who Yau-Man slipped a bit talking about him on the radio interview that's posted elsewhere. Listening carefully, Yau-Man's not a
very good liar, who can hear his tone of voice change, when talking about the different castaways. When his voice warms up, it indicates to me they're in
the LL with him...And he does let slip that "I got to meet Chet..." then quickly ads "later." So Chet's joining him there soon.
Jason-Ozzy's strength + a strategic brain? We shall see...
