This isn't my spoiler per se, but it's being discussed pretty openly at one of the bigger poker boards that Jean-Robert Bellande ('Bobby' to his friends) a fairly well-known poker degenerate/pro is expected to be on the S15 cast. hismyspace Bobby's known for his brash, borderline obnoxious table persona, so he'll probably be fun on Survivior. Obvs. this is not a solid lock, as poker players are notorious pranksters/prop-bet fiends, but the guys who are indicating that they know about this are known pros in that community, not random anon. trolls.

I have a hard time believing that he would miss the World Series of Poker which runs from around June 1 to July 17. I was a spectator at the WSOP last year and I saw him there.

Already pirate master looks to have a great cast with Azmyth, John, Rupert 2, and some good female contestants (Alexis) What makes the season is pretty much the cast, no matter how boring some of the seasons are, if they had a better cast it could have been great... so they better make it good for China, does anyone know if China will be the last season for people to get on survivor? after China i heard it's All stars 2, and then Survivor is over....

Anyways, this guy looks intresting. BTW: With the Pirate Master show being produced by MB maybe its a sign of better casting this season.

They probably intentionally went looking at the LA Casinos for a poker pro, kinda like with Brian when they looked for a used car salesman.

They said Louie (rupert 2) got tossed in the trash for survivor fiji after he APPLIED! My guess is that they just wanted to save him for pirate master, which is fine but id rather see him on survivor.

(Which is a possibility, but money talks, and getting rid of a cash cow is a bit silly.) The 5/5/5/5 race splits are what kept the applicants off of survivor (White people are a majority of the people in the country. The majority of the applicants are white. They didn't get more minority applicants because gasp the same white people were watching the show.) Hopefully they do kill the affirmative action quotas next season.

Posts: 2958 (05/08/07 11:59 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i could be completely wrong, but i just don't see any broadcasting company canceling survivor yet, unless they felt they had a sure fire hit to replace it. it still does pretty good ratings for a long running show, and it is cheaper to make then scripted tv shows. with the internet and cable tv the show is actually doing pretty good ratings compared to other shows. nothing has been announced for survivor to be over after allstars. they didn't renew survivor for 2 more years, until this fall again. survivor is still a top rated show, so i don't see it being canceled yet. i think it is more waiting to see what the ratings are this fall, and if mark burnett still wants to do it. the apprentice had way lower ratings then survivor and was brought back again.
