Hey, I watched this and I must say it's probably the best-produced Brazilian version of any reality show aside from Big Brother. It's sad that it's an independent production running on a small-scale network, and I really hope it gathers enough of a viewership to at least return the investment to the producers. It's more faithful to the american TAR than TAR:Asia was, despite the cast being older and fuglier. A rundown of the first episode:

The teams:
Andréa & Luciana: Fat sisters, I had them pegged as first eliminated, but they did pretty well.
Jonatas & Rafael: My current bet for winning team, the long-haired friends came in second.
Patrícia & Sane: The second team of sisters is a fan-favorite because they are pretty active in the Brazilian TAR community, where they earned the nickname "The Xuxas". They made a couple of fateful mistakes which put them far behind, but the usual mid-1st-leg "departing times" bunching saved them.
Carlos & Eduardo: The father/son motorbikers. They were pretty invisible during the episode.
Debora & Daniela: The only black team is probably the strongest of the F/F teams. They were shown crying and talking about racism in the preview for the next episode, so I'm sensing a tribute to slavery like in Senegal in TAR6.
Sandro & Daniel: The alpha males, I had them pegged as winners and they got an early lead because they were running the first leg in their home city, but as we know, TAR holds a home-city curse since the first american season. They were the first team eliminated, and thankfully, because they were very annoying.
Marcelo & Narciso: The first openly gay couple in a Brazilian reality show, they did pretty well considering they took the rappelling task and one of them had a fear of heights. Sadly, they were as stereotypically gay as they get, and one of them even cried during the Roadblock. :/
Perri & Maristela: Nicknamed "Mr. & Mrs. Bean" by the other teams because of his similarity with Rowan Atkinson. Did very well throughout the entire first episode, but previews showed them bickering in the next ep.
Milene & Jaqueline: Female Friends. Who? Invisible.
Jorge & Sílvia: Married couple. Also pretty invisible.
Marilice & Tâmisa: Mother/daughter, did VERY well during the episode, but were not featured as much. The daughter is cute and young, and they could easily become the brazilian Momily. Currently my favorites.
