Posts: 371 (03/07/08 8:16 AM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Because many of you have total recall about every Survivor ever: Since the advent of the Standard Challenge Format (go get some puzzle pieces, assemble puzzle), how many times has a team/person overcome a significant deficit going into the puzzle portion? I know editing can distort things, but last night's comeback looked pretty big.

They may have lost time there (the recap isn't specific), but they still had the lead going into the beam. I mean, we rarely get to see if it even makes a difference. Have them do the puzzle first, then do something physical/race-like.

Posts: 272 (03/07/08 5:50 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	^^^ I actually thought one of the best parts of Fiji were the challenges.There were really only 4 actual puzzles that I remember...the first two challenges, the blindfold challenge and the Final 10 Challenge. Fiji's challenges were refreshing after Cook Islands. Cook Islands was the puzzle crazy season. ETA: Although it's not a puzzle challenge..I thought Colby's comeback in the F7 IC (the build a fire in one bucket and fill another with water until the fire raises challenge) was one of the better ones. Posts: 793 (03/07/08 6:56 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I don't know if this counts as a puzzle, but in the ep3 reward challenge of Guat, Yaxha started assembling their first, and they lost because they couldn't communicate. Also, IIRC, in the Amazon car challenge Rob got to the puzzle first, but Matt ended up beating him. Then there was the F5IC in ASS when they had to do a word search and then make a mystery word; Amber finished the word search first, but Rob found the mystery word (Chaboga Mogo) right away.

Posts: 77 (03/11/08 7:34 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I know this isn't a puzzle but that F6 RC in Fiji had a huge come-from-behind win as Yau/Stacy/Boo were stuck at the balance beam cause Yau kept falling and Cass/Dreamz/Earl were already at the crawling part, but Yau/Stacy/Boo managed to find their axe first and chop that rope thing, so, I think that should count as one
