I was listening to the Savage Nation radio talkshow yesterday afternoon and Savage made a comment (I don't remember the exact words) heterosexual marriage
is now the new minority because the homosexuals have been teaching heterosexuals how to have sex without needing to be married so hetrosexuals are no longer
marrying in numbers like they were before.
Also, on his show he consistantly talks about 4 things: Hatred of Muslims, Hatred of Gays, Hatred of Liberalism, and support of Iraq War. Thinks he is superior to everyone else. Has a poll on his website that he claims 18 million people have said they would vote him president, but he does not mention that they are NOT 18 million DIFFERENT people, maybe 1 million people who voted 8 times each.
I used to get really upset when he would go off on gays, because I am one. One day, he mentioned that his radio show was not a democracy, so it did not matter what others thought. That made since to me, yeah, the man can say anything he wants. Or can he? Is it irrresponsible for him to make veiled comments about rumored attacks on the U. S.? Just last week, although he never used the word "Nuclear", he implied that according to a rumor he heard, something bad might happen to San Francisco this week. He knew the listeners would read between the lines. is that responsible? I don't think so.
Anyway, now to my question for the breeders:
According to his comment yesterday, Are you (heterosexuals) watching me being single and having sex and thinking it is ok for you to have sex and be single? Do you know I am the downfall of the human race? Do you know that I am out to recruit your children? Do you know I am a pervert? Do you know I spread filth and disease?
According to Savage, I am all these things. The really funny thing is, I don't date around, I don't have sex, I don't like to be around children, I am not diseased. yet, I am bringing down the human race.
Now, I am bright enough to know that he is not talking to "me" but to the "radical" gay movement, but I still find his remarks offensive.
yet, I find myself defending his right to say these things, however wrong I feel they may be, because we have freedom of speech in this country of ours.
Another question, What should we censor? When does free speech end and censorship begins?

I hate mexicans
I hate blond haired people
I hate nudists
I hate smart people
Are all these protected by free speech? Maybe only some? Would the use of these words be evoked as hate crimes?
What about these words
homosexuals are deviants
blacks are criminals
mexicans are lazy
blond haired people are dumb
nudists are perverts
smart people are snobs
Except for the first line, most everyone would find the rest of the lines offensive.

I listen to Savage to keep an ear on the enemy. Although I'd be
very tempted to dismiss the first post by saying that Savage is a complete nutter, and nothing he says should be taken to heart, the problem is that he *does*
have a devoted following that unfortunately hangs onto his every word and believes him to be a prophet. THAT is what scares me about Savage. He definitely
promotes blatant hatred on his shows. What I cannot figure out is why he chooses to remain in San Francisco. With a syndicated show, he could broadcast from
anywhere.
