I've only played hockey as an "organized" sport; every other sport I've played non-seriously.
Little EoT plays "organized" hockey and soccer.
When you play hockey, you wear a jockstrap WITH a protective cup, which is not necessary for many other sports.
Do baseball, football, SOCCER players who play "seriously" wear the protective cup too ?
Little EoT doesn't when he plays soccer and I'm wondering if I haven't completely missed the boat on that one.
I'm pretty sure baseball players don't since they're scratching their balls effortlessly on a continuous basis, but I mean, a "comebacker" to the mound could kill a pitcher if he misses it, wouldn't it ?
I'm slightly embarrassed to ask that question at my age but since we're a big family, I know that I will not be judged harshly.
