Anyone have side panels made up for The Amazon, Guatemala, Exile Island...any of those, that they want to share?? Trying to fancy smancy up my sets...I went thru this entire thread looking for a flat version to the Guatemala and EI covers too and there's not one...looking for any of these things from you crafty people...

beatles made a good point that crossed my mind earlier...on-demand episodes. Every episode of Survivor, Big Brother and The Amazing Race (if they can clear up a few rights issues on that one) should be readily available via some online platform that CBS has a stake in. These shows make little to no money in American syndication deals (BB has never even had one) but could definitely make $$$ with ad-supported episodes. It's free dough, all they need to do is upload it to the web and find...

I bought a Dvd off ebay last year that is a complete summary of the first seven seasons and has interviews with all the allstars commetenting on their favorite moments of seasons pasts.

Did anybody else get their hands on that promotional DVD they released before Survivor: Amazon started airing? They made them available at Saturn car dealerships, and I was lucky enough to have a relative who worked at one so she snagged a disc for me. The DVD featured pre-game interviews with all the contestants as well as some other stuff, if I recall correctly. I still have mine around here somewhere, I'll have to go look for it...

I always figured that the contents of that...

There's an application called SoundTaxi that can convert protected iTunes files to file formats that you can burn to DVD. But converting and then burning decreases the quality quite a bit.

I tried that last year and didn't have any luck. That doesn't necessarily mean it's not possible,...

I think to have better sales for the DVD's, they need more extra's like deleted scenes, more commentaries, and better featurettes. Also, if they want to attract buyers who have never seen the seasons before, I think it may help if they didn't use the 6 person cover format they have been using as it spoils the outcome of the game as the 6 on the cover always reveals the winner and the majority of the rest of the top finishers. I had a friend who had never seen the pre-ASS...

Also SSS, I find that the worse a season, the more rewatchable it is. I could rewatch thailand and fiji a million times. Maybe it's because i keep searching for good moments or that I remember less of them so it's better to rewatch.

TAR is the worst though, it's almost unbearable to rewatch because 90% of it is suspense about losing.

Survivor is about 50% suspense and 50% content.

Hey peeps...

After Vanuatu was released on DVD, there seems to have been a stem in the flow of Survivor on DVD...not to mention Amazing Race. I've heard from reliable sources at www.tvshowsondvd.com that CBS has no plans to release any more...this makes me mad as surely Marquesas, Africa, Vanuatu, Guatemala etc should have come before Vanuatu!!

I'm hoping you guys know more or have heard a rumour..
