Dan is hottenss personified. His dad's pretty hot too. Nate's OK but a little boring. Chuck's just funny looking to me.

The guy being a Lord was super lame. Right out of a tween/Mary Kate & Ashley movie.

I still think that the show would be best if little Jenny Humphrey was the focus. I love that her stories are NOT about dating, but rather about money and power... Too many love stories will take away the edge. This show needs to retain its bite...

The premiere was kind of lame. But next week looks like fun. Everything still feels super rushed though. Dan's evolution to playboy was not plausible at all. Meh.

Can the writers please add in a backbone for Serena? Over all I like her character, but I'm soooo sick of her walking around and pouting about Dan when hes such an asshole to her. DUMP HIS ASS. He basically just calls her a slut and shes like "omg I know sry! *cries*"

Really good first episode though, I definitely liked it. The female cast + Chuck is so great. I do wish they'd either give Nate a personality or add some more interesting guys though. And Dan is...

Damn Madchen Amick still looks fucking incredible. And how predictable was the Dan being there for the Nate-Serena kiss? C'mon writers, try and surprise me.

EDIT: Nice save, Dan calls Serena out on her bullshit with making too much drama when its not necessary. And they kiss and make up. I likes.

If you do try and catch up, I'd skip the middle episodes. It got a little lovey-dovey there for a while, but the beginning/end of the season was really strong. Its a pretty great show over all.

I bought it on Itunes as a whim, and got into it really easily. In fact I had some work going on in my house and had it on and before I knew it everyone was watching it. Course this was mostly gay men, so that mught skew it a bit. Good Airplane watch too.

I know nothing about it, but discuss it here I suppose. If VM gets cancelled and this turns out to suck I want the thread title to reflect it in bright blinky letters.
