Giving this lovable show some much-needed bumpage for Monday's premiere!

And a long-overdue CONGRATS to Jean Smart's Emmy win - there were more deserving women (Cheno!) but it was still a pleasant surprise.

Can't wait for this show to come back. Judging from the very funny promo up at ABC.com, Buster is in this season!

Read the news earlier today, too. Poor Christina. Only seemingly positive is that it does sound as though it was caught early. She's been an advocate for breast cancer and has a family history, so she was probably vigilant on getting checked. So, kudos for her being on top of things and best wishes for a full & quick recovery.

Early detection is the key. My mother was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in 1991 and underwent radiation therapy. 17 years later, thank God, she is still cancer-free. Christina has an excellent chance for a full recovery since her's was detected early as well.

I was at the gym and saw this on the news. The sound wasn't on, but there was captioning. I think they said the cancer was caught early and isn't life-threatening, but like I said, it was the very end of the story.

Mind you, her boyfriend died of an apparent drug overdose just a month ago or so. Damn. I really hope she pulls through this; more reports are saying it was caught at a very early stage so there's much hope.

I watched it. I was happy when it seemed like the Todd romance aspect would be done for next season, then not pleased at all when they made it clear that it would be.

I did like the little bits they had with amnesia this episode (finally getting back to the actual premise of the show) where she didnt know it was her birthday and how it seemed like she wanted a little kids party.

Please re-hire the original writers over the summer. Thanks.

Actually it WAS a lot about the amnesia, the pre-strike episodes were based a lot around her struggle to remember things that most people know and realizing what a bad person she was. At this point it seems like she has remembered pretty much everything she needs to know and its just about her trying to get Todd back. We don't see the little glimpses of evil Sam in her unless its in a flashback.

Its totally turning into a relationship show, as much as I like looking at Barry...

The show is and was never about her amnesia it's about HER post car accident. Every ep shouldn't be about something from her past she's forgotten it's supposed to be about how she's trying to be a different(better) person than what she used to be. Being 'the other woman' and no longer wanting to be that is exactly that. Old Sam had no problem with it she enjoyed it, New Sam realized that's not what she want thanks in part to discovering her mother's...
