I like how they are all toned-down dysfunctional as a family, vs Dallas OTT dysfunctional, and a little absurd. Bit more like real life, nio matter what your income bracket.

The one thing I really hated was hiding the accidental death of whatshername. I get why they felt they had to, but it seemed stupid and contrived.

One thing I really liked was that Nick took the keys to the yacht. I was expecting some "You know I can't accept this, Trip" speech....

I'm still not sure if I like Simon Elder or not, but damn, Blair Underwood is so easy on the eyes.

I think Tripp (being the clever person he's supposed to be) made Nick the successor to keep him and Brian at odds. Lucille Bluth used to do it to Michael and Lindsay all the time.

The dysfunctional funeral was great. Kenny G The whole unknown of who is playing who is something I like about this series. Kind of like Damages but much lighter. I wonder if Nick really recommended Brian and Tripp didn't do it. Or did he just say that and recommended himself because has a plan to find out more about...

Enjoying this season just as much as the last one. I really hope this doesn't get cancelled.

I wasn't expecting Nick to be appointed as the successor. I KNEW it wouldn't be Brian, but I thought Trip was going to change it to Karen. Nice shock there. I think the episode was pretty meh - but there were just enough amazing "oh shit" moments to re-hook me for the final 12 episodes.

I finally got a chance to watch the premiere and thought it was fine. Yeah there was an awful lot of backstory being set into place, but that's to be expected after this long of an offseason + start of new season.

Yeah Jeremy & Lisa were semi involved (more on his part) last year when she helped him pose an as an artist to appear to be a struggling, non rich guy. I like that it's carried over.

And he's TOTALLY mine bitch! :)
