I actually agree that it wasn't up to par with last season. It didn't feel as wholesome as last year. But it was still one of the best things on television last week.

IMO it's always been like that and that's why it tanks in the ratings. The problem is, they can't simplify it because it won't be the same show. I like it the way it is but I'm sure the average American Nielsen family viewer can't understand what is going on half the time.

The only thing I didn't like was that Olive's singing in the very short Sound of Music thing was quite over the top and sounded nothing like her. Aside from that, sorry, I disagree completely, the episode was terrific!

I just watched this and came rushing right over. NONE of you thought it was nowhere near as good as it used to be? I'm shocked. It was like they got all new writers who were trying desperately to be quirky and ended up with an overstuffed, nonsensical mess. I didn't miss an episode last season (and even named my kitten Olive), but I won't be able to watch it any more if it continues like this past episode. The nun shit? The ratings news bums me out. How is it that Grey's Anatomy gets 4 times the viewership of PD? America sucks.

Dead Like Me got way better after Fuller left. The second half of S1 wasn't as good as the half he was involved with, but S2 was less Georgia Lass melodrama and far more of the funny.

Good point. He stepped away from DLM after Season 1. And, well we know how long Wonderfalls lasted. So it'll be interesting to see. He is still intimately involved in this, right? I get the impression that he may be a bit of a queen to work with.

Watched the ep again last night. Wow, what a good premiere. I can only hope that Fuller's able to keep the quality high when a show of his lasts longer than the very short runs that his shows have usually gotten :P Assuming it stays on the air.

Whenever I see a commercial, a rerun, anything for CSI, it boggles my mind how popular it is. It honest to god is the most formulaic nonsense ever. There's absolutely no heart in that show, at all. It's as sterile as the fucking way they handle the evidence. I couldn't name a single character's name on that show, and I've seen a ton of episodes while visiting family members who soak up this...

Unfortunately, I just watched the premiere this morning. Fortunately, it lived up to the Season 1 episodes from the start. It was an incredible episode and I loved Kristen as a nun.

PD is something that's not like everything else...

I've only watched a couple episodes, but the reason this show might be cancelled is that the overall concept of raising the dead/killing someone with one touch is gimmicky. The writers should just propose to end it after three seasons.

It's no more gimmicky than any of the 500 crime shows that CBS shoves down senior citizens' throats. The fact is, this is one of the few shows that actually makes humanity look appealing. And it's strange, given...

Charles Charles, Vivian's fiance, was the father of Chuck and Lily slept with him.

That is why we're all wondering with them all having the same last name (Especially if Vivian was his fiance), what happened. Thus my theory.
