			<description><![CDATA[ But they're even apathetic about making a HELP sign out of rocks!  Granted I'd have my doubts that a satellite might see that but why not a plane?  They can't possibly know that there's a cloaking device shielding the island.  If I were on an island that HUGE I'd expect that someone would come by once in a while.  For God's sakes, countries have all rushed to claim small newly volcanic islands that have suddenly appeared in the ocean for claiming exclusive fishing rights or strategic military... ]]></description>

But the hatch was not a secret. Locke had schedule at one point that had everyone rotating to push the button at some point. Then I think core group started taking peoples shifts when Ben was being held hostage. Maybe people feel the same way rose does and just flat out does not trust a mystery hatch in the middle of the jungle. Comforts (shower and Laundry) or not it is weird and I think these people in the background are just not adventures and probably are staying on the beach trying... ]]></description>
