Good point, but as I recall even zippers are flipped on women's coats. Eh, it's all too confusing and has nothing to do with LOST.

BTW, if you try to read Ben's lips when he's talking in surgery he was upside down on the TV screen so you'd need to spin the TV around or stand on your head to see what he's saying.

I'm right handed, so I wear my watch on my left arm. How the fuck would I be able to hook it up if I wore it on my right? My left hand is completely retarded, and I will add "much like the rest of me" before some smartass beats me to it.

Don't we have any deaf people here that could read Ben's lips when he was talking to Julie on the operating table? There should be at least 5 to 10 words that could be extracted from the two short scenes they showed of his lips flappin'.

In the real world Julie also wore her watch band on her left arm. Don't women usually wear a watch on their right arms? Or is this normal for left handed people. Is she left handed?

The ratings results of the LOST recrap impressed the heck out of ABC. It was roughly 1/3 of the size of the AI audience--a WAY bigger audience than their sitcoms (from sitcoms' past track records on Wednesdays) would've drawn. So why NOT do LOST reruns? A LOST rerun ranking #30 is more impressive than an "According To Jim" that ranks #50, yeah? That would be their rationale.

Also, they're figuring that a LOT of audience STILL hasn't grasped that LOST is at a new time. If...

At the time that Jack demanded that Kate and Sawyer be allowed off the island, he didn't know there were 2 islands. I would say that Jack thought that Kate was going to get to go home just the same as he was. After talking to Juliet and Tom, I think that Jack knows there is no escape for him.

I just got done rewatching the episode. After he told Kate never to come back for him, that was it. He told Tom to turn the radio off, which he did.

shoeless - I don't think Jack trusts Ben enough to believe everything he says. But even if he did think he'd be gone, he wanted to make sure Kate never came back. It could be more dangerous for her if Jack wasn't there. He was looking out for her either way.

I thought this was a great episode and the last conversation between Jack and Kate kinda pulled at my heartstrings. I know Kate and Sawyer "did it", and have a connection, but I'm not so sure gallant and self sacrificing Jack is out of the picture with Kate. I completely "get" the attraction good looking bad boys like Sawyer have for women, but I hope there's still something to said for guys with good hearts who put the one they love above all else, including themselves....

Juliet-centric

Jack has the Others in a desperate situation as he holds Ben's life in his hands. Meanwhile, Kate and Sawyer try to escape from their captors. Back at the beach, Charlie and Hurley search through Sawyer's belongings and discover his hidden possessions. Flashbacks reveal Juliet's past.
