I completely disagreed with what shoeless said about Sawyer...and right after he said it you said "^^^^ what shoeless said!"...which means you agree 100% with what he said, right?

The fact that you agree with me 50% means you no longer feel like it was a bad character design flaw like you thought last week.

James went after Hurley cuz he was in on the taking of his stash. When Hurley was all welcoming, he couldn't stay mad. Saw the van. Saw the BEER. Saw a way of getting his mind off everything (aka Kate--and, oh, yeah, that Others thing).

Of course, when he got back to the beach (with much beer), no Kate was to be found--and the pain of his experience, and his pushing her away, came back like a tidal wave to him.

And they defo showed Hurley popping the clutch, in between the shots of him praying or whatever.
