As I understand it, next season, Jin inexplicably finds himself in the middle of the desert, similar to what happened to Ben a few episodes ago. His story arc revolves around his discovery of a lost tribe of Israel "unstuck in time." These hopeless nomads were screwed over by one of Dr. Mike Candlebars' Dharma experiments.

I think flashbacks for the tribe are planned for ep 5.02, "Jin & Jews."

the oceanic 6 lied and they are claiming that only them 6 were alive after the plane crashed. it was revealed when kate was in the trial. so Jin could of died at any time between the present to the time the Oceanic 6 leave the island. also it's currently 2005 in island time. they past christmas a looong time ago.

Tigeranne - Jin bought the panda bear back in 2000. He had a flashback that was made to look like it was happening at the same time as Sun's delivery. Sun had a flashforward to when she gave birth to Ji Yeon. As for the date on the gravestone, I have NO idea.

I don't get it. How is it that his headstone says he died in the crash? and why did we see him buying the panda in
service of Sun's dad? That was a flashback?

Undoubtedly one of the best characters on the show. The guy exudes so much strength and vulnerability--and he can't even speak or understand English. That's character. Here's to finding out more about Jin. May he (and Sun) never be killed off the show!
