Of the one flashback that had Charlie's dad, it certainly didn't seem that Charlie had dad issues.

Maybe that's why the universe is out to get him.

Hurley's 'grandfather' died...but he was his father figure once Cheech left the picture.

This has been a theme I've noticed for a while, glad to see a thread about it.

Add to your list:

strong indication that Sayid (be still my thumpathumpa heart!) has Daddy issues, we just haven't seen them play out yet. In one of his earlier flashbacks, Sayid's C.O. sneeringly mentions how his father was a major Iraqi hero. Sayid doesn't measure up??

OK, I may be a little behind, but I just realized almost every single main Lostie has Daddy issues. Are the writers just lazy with the characters' background conflicts or is this gonna all eventually add up to something?
