Charlies a goner. I see it happening at the end of the season, maybe all the Losties go on another journey to rescue their peeps and him and Desmond get separated. Then they'll have a big dramatic Desmond vision but he's nowhere near Charlie to save him. Blah blah blah he gets got. Good riddance.

As much as we all love LOST, we all know that eventually the show is going to end, and that eventually some characters are going to die. What we don't know, however, is who is going to survive the entire course of the series, and who's carcass is going to lay rotting on the island for all eternity (as far as we know).
