I'm a little behind so I just watched this episode, but I wanted to add:

I think that Paolo really did keep the diamonds in order to avoid a potential falling out with Nikki. Before they even found them in the jungle pool, Paolo asked her if she would even be with him if she didn't need him to find the diamonds for her. It sounded pretty sincere to me.

Oh well... doesn't matter anymore.

Locke must have been watching Season 1 since the "accident" happened four years ago.

Don't know if he is still a fan, but Hurley was.

And who can blame them - crimefighting strippers? RAZZLE DAZZLE!

Hurley didn't recognize her because the epi was just in production before the plane crash, but if she'd been on all season, he must have seen her.....

Nikki was only a guest star. Besides, even though Expose aired in the U.S., it was an Aussie show. Kind of like a lot of BBC series aired on U.S. PBS stations. She might've figured maybe no one on the beach had heard of the show. And those who did--they might be big fans, and start following her all over the place. She might not have wanted to have called that much attention to herself--at least, not early on. Obviously, she got more interested in being involved in the last few days, Island...

Yeah, I forgot about that other show that mentions gold bullion and the Cobra all the time.

Oh, and I heard them mention Crystal and Autumn. Wait, that probably doesn't mean anything either.

Like Expose is the only show with gold bullion and the Cobra! Sheesh.

Odd that Nikki apparently never even mentioned to anyone on the island that she was on Expose.

When he was watching TV near the beginning of the episode, he was eating a TV dinner. It was right before the young guy came to his door. You can hear the TV program in the background. They mention finding gold bullion and also mention the Cobra.

Just rewatched the episode. The old guy Nikki was screwing was named Zuckerman, just like from "Charlotte's Web". Zuckerman's famous pig.

Yeah, it was like super quick and a super bunch of them. Wouldn't there be other females on the island producing pheromones at the same moment? It seemed like all of the male spiders on the entire island converged on that one spot at once.

The whole episode was kind of unrealistic and silly though so maybe it was just going along with the theme. Just coupled with Jin's comment makes it seem a little more worthy of some pondering .. ok, maybe just for me, lol!

Doesn't something have to be alive to produce pheromones? I mean, I guess the scent could linger after she squished it, but the sheer number of males approaching that one spot .. it just doesn't seem plausible. And Jin just seemed so sure ..

Ok, maybe I just think it would be cool if it was some manifestation that Smokey came up with based upon Nikki's fears. Or I guess in his angry state maybe Paolo's desires.
