There is a pyrocantha splinter permanently embedded in the nail bed of my ring finger.

But ... usually I am pretty good at removing splinters no matter how deeply embedded they may be.

I squeezed the tip and could see just a bit of it...I squeezed hard with the tweezers and VIOLA...I got it.

It was definitely the tip of a rose thorn. I think I heard rose thorns have a poison in them to be super annoying. It was real tiny and SHARP.
