8 was a total waste other than the screaming Italian mom. I see there is a new show that reprises the horrid splendor that was TAR8. A bunch of families race in winnibego's through the US. Stick me with searing hot bamboo shoots directly into my retinas before watching TAR 8 or that new show.

The question should be divided up to be fair.
What TAR seasons had the best first half, and which had the best second half?
A lot of times entertaining teams get booted relatively early. Don't dis an entire season because of a crappy ending.

They really need to release a net edit of Season 8. There's got to be a ton of good stuff that they didn't air, but would make watching it again a new experience. TAR8 -- The Lost Meltdowns and Faceplants!

I find it really hard to rank the seasons since I pretty much love every one of them. I can't think of one season which had the best cast, locations and tasks all rolled into one. The only one that comes close for me is season 3 and the only season I had a hard time getting through was 13 but that had more to do with them losing so many good teams in the beginning.

I've liked all of the seasons. Sometimes the winning team didn't seem so deserving. Never a shortage of drama, laughs, and queasy moments.

1. TAR3 => loved this. The epic drama, Epic bitching, Brotherhood Alliance <3 vs. Evil Teams <3, Flo flirting <3 and then Flo's screwing of twins, lololol
2. TAR5 => would have been number one if Charla and Mirna reached the rappeling in Leg 12 and Linda and Karen weren't robbed of Final 3.
3. TAR2 => very nice. The locations are great but...

8 > 4, 6, 7, 9, the second half of 10, the non South America portions of 11, 13, 14

1, 3, and 5 are classic.
2 is very good, though possibly marred by the F3.
12 is great until the final 10 minutes.

(also, TAR10 up until Kuwait and TARAS up to Ushuaia are good/decent)

I am going back to watch the earlier seasons for the first time. Which ones are the best?
