        <![CDATA[ Are these things in every city and town? We never used to do that kind of thing when I was a kid.


A 15 year old girl was killed by a car, about 1 block from my house,(about a week ago, so I know it is still very recent)  and today when I went by, there were
pictures, candles, teddy bears, tons of flowers there. There is another site about 5 blocks from my house where someone was killed about 2 years ago....they
still have a cross on a tree, and always flowers and little mementos are left... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ Okay here is the one for the lady killed crossing the street.  It&#39;s in a rather dangerous spot so I took it out the car window.  Notice the hanging basket?
 I don&#39;t know how the people get there to care for it as it&#39;s on the side of a 4 lane highway.

you can engrave a name on, with a cross sticking out of it (include some colored markers to write messages on it) and a couple of shelves for knick knacks on

There is a dirty memorial around here as well.  Poor kid died 2 days before Christmas, and I drive by that damn dried up dirty Christmas wreath every morning.
I also know where there is a pretty well kept up memorial for some lady who was hit crossing the street.  I may have to get a pic of that to rival yours
