I'm watching Donnie Darko right now in honor of this thread. I have the director's cut, have you ever seen that version Frodo?

I never noticed Seth Rogen was in this movie. He has one of the best lines in the whole movie!

Frank is actually Donnie's sister's (Elizabeth Darko) boyfriend. The Frank we see through most of the film should technically be referred to as Manipulated Dead Frank. That's brilliant. And marvelous. Is it me or is this Frank person starting to get on people's nerves. He shoulda let the bitch die.

Why couldn't the movie kill either the mom or sister in the beginning or at least have a twofer of some sorts. Then Donnie's sacrifice might have made more sense. Oh I know why, cuz this wasn't a Disney flick.

Frank went back in time (via wormhole) to 1952 with Gretchen's clone. She attended 3 years of flight school. Then Frank arranged for Gretchen's clone to be travelling on the plane in 1955 and take over the cockpit in order to steer the plane away from the crash. It's not rocket science.
