so I caught a glimpse of the finale, good god everything looks so cheap and ugly. Even the Canadian Idol finales look more impressive. The cinematography looks so amateurish and uninspiring, even the choir looked cheap, like it was fetched off of an office glee club. and don't even get me started on the shitty ass coronation song that makes every single one of the American idol coronation cheese-fests sound grammy-worthy.

I AM SSSSOOOOO SAD THOUGHHH cause Kid was good. He's the only good one there but he got eliminated over the Biliran Princess Gretchen and the copycat Bamboo RAM and the loser in singing contests Jayann. SAD SAD SAD.

although if ABS-CBN does pick it up, it's best they honor the original ABC 5 season (didn't they originally ask to co-produce it with ABC?) and then pretend the GMA season didn't exist, that's the perfect slap in the face to GMA.

I just saw Pinoy Idol during dinner last Sunday night. I saw Robby was the first male finalist to boot. The fans were totally sad and he's the first male to go.

if you took the ABC 5 production values and then put contestants like Sheryn, Nyko, Christian, Mau, Michael Cruz, and Frenchie Dy...it would be the greatest Idol season ever
