I used to work at the pet store at my local mall, and the owner was a no holds barred bitch. One day she watched a woman walk her little kids into the store, told them they have 10 minutes, then walked out of the store and plopped her fat ass on the bench. I believe that perhaps your child is smart. Even that your pre-schooler or kindergardner is reading a couple grade levels above where they should be.

They have more hoping that the next one will work out better. That way the can ignore the first kids and focus on the "good" kid and make the other ones feel bad and act out even more.

The thing I don't understand is why parents who can't control the kids they have choose to have more kids. I mean if the two you have drive you nuts then perhaps you shouldn't have any more kids.

There was a 20/20 report about international adoption Friday and it was just filled with stupid mistakes the parents made. First they took two kids that were 8 and 11 and didn't speak english and then were shocked when after being taken away from everything they knew and...

Yes, the kid behaves much better when mommy is not in the room, duh!!!!!!
Plus it is not safe to have all the other kids running around the operatory, dangerous, yes 1 parent can come back if nessesary but not the whole frigging grizwald family!!

Sometimes that is true but on average history repeats itself.. or you go so polar opposite and that is a reflection of that.. compensating and trying to be someone you are not.. backfires.

Just to be a downer here.. How many of you have children and are in big ole denial about what kind of parent you are or will be? Most of you completely replicate your parents behaviors because that is what you know. It takes a great deal of effort to be "different" That and the fact that there are many conflicting theories and techniques about raising children that makes it impossible to know what is "best" . And isn't that what matters being the "best?"...
