I don't think Kate should have been a double winner, but I think she was definitely rewarded for the wrong role. Her role as April in "Revolutionary Road" was 20X better than that of "The Reader."

The only bullshit with J-Hud was that she was the "supporting" role in that film to Beyonce, it's almost as bad as the academy changing the rules to give Penelope Cruz an Oscar when we all know Kate should have left as a double winner.

Silly Jersey. That's being a pundit or a wonk, not a critic. If I were being a critic, I would have said, "Mulligan's breathtaking debut, full of innocence blended with curiosity and a hint of rebellion, is surely the most obvious Bst Actress nominne in an uncertain season.

Precious was not that good...nothing great...nothing thats going to stick with you forever. Dangerous Minds has stuck with me more than Precious will and its from the same vain. You can look at Monique's performance and either think its is an actress digging down...
